Scholarships for people from Ukraine and other foreign nationals – July 2025

This month, we decided to organize the information a bit differently. The article is divided into two main sections.

The first section includes scholarships dedicated to people from Ukraine and other countries – including those that mention specific nationalities in the eligibility criteria.
The second section features scholarships open to everyone, regardless of citizenship – their regulations do not mention nationality at all.
As always, we only include scholarships available throughout Poland.

Group 1

25th edition of the Gaude Polonia scholarship program
For artists and creators from Central and Eastern Europe and post-Soviet countries (with priority for Belarus and Ukraine), in the fields of film, photography, art conservation, literature/translation, museology, music, visual arts, theatre, and also film/music/art/theatre history and criticism.
📅 Application deadline: October 15, 2025

NAWA – Scientists in need
For those who have a doctoral degree or higher and received a decision from the Head of the Office for Foreigners granting one of the forms of international protection.
📅 Application deadline: December 15, 2025

Jadwiga and Zbigniew Kruszewski Award for best PhD dissertation
For PhD students and researchers.
📅 Application deadline: September 1, 2025

Group 2

Art Scholarship at the Warsaw School of Advertising
➡️ Open to foreigners – only a high school diploma and age under 24 are required. No citizenship required.
📅 Application deadline: July 25, 2025

Grupa Pracuj Scholarship Fund
➡️ Requires graduation from a Polish high school, admission to a Polish university, and income criteria typical of the national system. Available to foreigners who meet these conditions.
📅 Application deadline: September 1, 2025

Omnibus 2025–26
Only for primary school students in Poland – limited to students residing in Poland.
➡️ Foreigners may apply.
📅 Application deadline: July 31, 2025

Santander Foundation Scholarship Program 2025
Only for primary and secondary school students in Poland – limited to those residing in Poland.
➡️ Foreigners may apply.
📅 Application deadline: August 4, 2025

City of Warsaw John Paul II Scholarship for university students
➡️ For students, including foreign nationals.
📅 Application deadline: October 10, 2025

City of Warsaw John Paul II Scholarship for school students
➡️ For school students, including foreign nationals.
