Literary Scholarships

The Creative Grants organised by the Villa Decius Association and the Foundation for German – Polish Cooperation are addressed to German writers and translators of literature from German into Polish and Polish into German. The grants provide for residential stays at the Dom Łaskiego (Łaski’s House), which is an outbuilding of Villa Decius. A stay of an international group of artists promotes networking and mutual cooperation, inspires and stimulates the achievement of intercultural understanding and knowledge of our common heritage. These are also accompanied by joint meetings of authors with the general public, and the texts written in the course such stays are published in the cooperating magazines and web services.
